Fried Chicken or Doughnuts? Hard choice!

Well The Colonel returned with a bang. This odd-ball covermercial threw a lot of people as it placed old folk music into a modern setting. But do you know the Ivor Cutler & Linda Hirst original? Rough Trade released ‘A Doughnut In My Hand’ back in 1983 on the ‘Privilege’ album – and it is a bit of a gem!

Interestingly, the Colonel refuses to serve doughnuts as a dessert in his restaurants as he believes that they are too unhealthy. Or maybe he is just chicken.
